Joann's interest in art is rooted in her early childhood in northeastern Pennsylvania. At the early age of five years old, she started drawing everything around her.

Joann received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Since graduating in 1991, Joann has pursued a career in graphic design; designing logos, brochures, magazine and newspaper ads.

Six years ago, Joann started her own business, Klien Design. She has completed work for various types of clients. Some of her clients include: Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Best Western, Mill's Pride, Benetton, Sir Speedy, the Rankin/Gravett Group and PMG Securities.

Joann has discovered new passions in painting wall murals and interior design. She also consults in these two venues.
